Terraces Bar and Grill

I think perhaps the staff must have either read this or taken a right b*llocking. the service here is renowned for being terrible, but when I went on saturday with a friend the service was very good. i couldn't fault it. The food here is alright, not the best, not the worst, but pretty good value. I hope it stays this way for the summer!!!

I went here for lunch on Saturday ,the first nice day of the year. What I don't understand is that the location for this place is brillaint but the service is terrible.

Our waitress was sweet enough but did not seem to have any idea about being a decent waitress. A couple of examples: our tables was wobbly. When I asked if she could do anything about it she went off and came back with a handful of paper napkins and handed them to me. Er, excuse me luv, I'm the customer, you sort it out. I'm ashamed to say I was very British and did it my elf. Then after our main course we asked what the puddings where. She couldn't remember and told us to go inside and look at them.

The food was okay but really do yourself a favour, go elsewhere As a local I'm quite embarassed that out of towners will rememeber this as an example of Brighton hospitality.

Oh the toilets are nice.
