Read some good reviews on this place so went there with the wife 4/12/09.
Service was excellent, taken straight to table and given prawn crackers to eat while I chose the food,. drink turned up quickly, nicely chilled and not bad for £11 house wine
Food was excellent, we went for the £17 set meal with crispy duck (loads of it), lemon chicken, fried vegetables, and beef, we swapped the king prawn for chile shredded beef with no hassles. Very attentive and friendly staff (filled up wine glasses for us and cleared things away quickly/ Lot of Chinese clientelle there in party groups,. Good night out, fed our faces with really nicely cooked food and drink for £50 inc service (even left a tip on top of the 10 % service charge -and I'm a mean git niormally !!)

My favourite Chinese restaurant in Brighton and probably the best roasted duck in the UK!! As a native Chinese from a region famous for its own cuisine, I am not so easily to be satisfied but this one is certainly worth recommending! The chili crab (in a Shanghainese name) is a feature dish but takes too long to eat so I don't usually order it any more.

This place has renewed my faith in Chinese food. We went in with a party of seven so had a reasonable variety of dishes and all were excellent. All of us left entirely satisfied.
The staff were friendly, prompt and patient too - Thank you
