when entering the establishment it was very dark and it took some time to adjust.

The seating time was very quick but this could have been that there was only another couple in there. After being thrown towards a seating area i felt that this was not going to be a relaxed exsperiance but still give it a chance! : ( About 30 seconds after being seated we were asked what we wanted to order and was given the menu , we were reading the same one as the take away customers use

and it wasnt very clear as to what went with what but eventualy chose 4 dishes from the menu. While waiting we had a drink of our choice deliverd to the table and sat for a while, i noticed that we were seated in the same place as the public come in to sit around to pick up there takeaway : ( . Then the food turned up and i thought this realy looks the part but when we tasted it it was like some one had poured the salt pot over everything ( unbelivable ) it was a real strugle to eat it.

It was over priced the four dishes 2 x eg fried rice 1 x sweet and sour chicken 1 x chicken chowmain with 3 drinks came to the best part of £40.00 and from start to finnish i dont think we were in there any more than 20 mins. Im sorry but this should be called Bad Food, and i will not be recomending this to anyone. may be i should have complained but i had my wife and daughter with me and didnt want to make a fuss in public... Very Poor Show

Probably the best Chinese restaurant in Brighton.

Frequently eaten by Chinese people.

I strongly recommend following menus

Braised Beef Brisket

Any of the meat hung by the window (especially duck)

Spicy aubergine with pork

Lobster in Black bean sauce

I was very impressed with this restaurant. Although we arrived early evening the place was quite busy which is always a good sign. We ordered the 'set' menu for £15 per head and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I worry sometimes about ordering set meals but the food served was delicious. It looked and tasted freshly cooked. We drank white wine with our meal (Pinot Grigio for just under £13). The house wine was less than £9.00.

The service was excellent and the atmosphere very chinese. It reminded me of eating in Hong Kong.

The only let down was the coffee at the end. Not a very chinese drink I suppose!
