Not the best Lebanese food but excellent value. The food is very good and close to the quality you'll find in the over-priced fancy London places but you'll pay around a quarter of the bill.

Better than many of the other places in the area - give it a go - you'll almost certainly make it a regular haunt!

Really delicious food with a lovely atmosphere.

They were very accommodating for our big group of 17 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal!

The set meal is excellent value and the drinks are fairly priced.

The house white that was presented was a wine that I know to be £2.50 a bottle in the off license across the road, and they charged £8.50. Aside from that, the food was excellent, and we had the set menu which included an excellent meze. Would definelty reccomend it but stay away from the house wines.

We went to alrouche on Sunday 12th having read reviews on this website. The decor is fairly basic but the food was fantastic, freshly cooked dishes generous portions and friendly efficient service. The lebanese beer tasted excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend alrouche.

on tuseday we've seen the new's on the argos new's paper and for that we've chosen alrouche restaurant to eat in. since it seem's that it's one of the cleanest restaurant in preston street.

We've had the 3 course set menu for £9.95

each and it's a selecltion of mezze and nice mixedgrill and bamieh.

NICE LEBANESE WINE .

Enjoyable experience, classic Preston St, with minimal expenditure on surroundings but focus on flavour. Really good middle eatern fare and credit the waiter who opened another bottle of wine for us after the first was well corked!! Lots of atmosphere post 8pm but did find the menu slightly overpriced - the only criticism.

Not the fanciest of restaurants, but really good food. Not only could they provide me with an excellent vegan selection, but they knew exactly what 'vegan' was!

Would thoroughly recommend.

Went here on a Saturday night without having booked or knowing anything about it. Really liked it. We had the set menu which was really good value with wonderful mezze to start and then I had the minced lamb on aubergine with rice - gorgeous. Baklava or ice cream to finish was not necessary at all, but - well, it was all paid for so we had to really! Reasonably priced wine list too. Service was friendly and good. It is not the fanciest restaurant I've ever been to, but with good food and good service who cares!
