Truly truly awful. Went last Saturday and although waitress was sweet the food was basically inedible. I should have known when the waitress phoned and said we were the only ones booked for the night but we thought we'd support a local restaurant. But the wine we chose was unavilable, so were half the starters and the sirloin and duck we chose were the best of an uninspiring lot. A row topped the evening (obviously not their fault but the ambience of the empty resturant certainly magnified the mood!) and I left with my plate unfinished!

Made a bad mistake coming here - should have realised when they had vacancies for Feb 14th when everywhere else is booked! Lobster soup so disgusting they took pity on me and provided a salad, consisting mainly of apple slices. Rest indifferent, and very smoky atmosphere. Staff nice, but couldn't compensate.
