The Food Was Absolutely Brilliant, The Staff Were Not As Friendly As I Hoped But Still Good Service.

Update - commedy of errors tonight. Main course came and it was stone cold, sent it back. It was put on hot plate for a minute and brought back. Then turns out it was wrong main course, which I did not know and by then had eaten some, waitress took it away and brought the right main course.

Wine served was a Hardy's bottle which is one step up from Blossom Hill for £14.

Will not go again.

Wagamama used to be great when the first of its restaurants opened. This one in Brighton is mean with ingredients (3 prawns in my prawn noodles) and a rather unpleasant place to sit. Don't bother.

I have eaten here 3 times. Dinner is too busy and much too LOUD. Really bad accoustics. My boyfriend and I literally had to SHOUT to each other across the crammed tables. Lunch is completely different. The odd yummy mummy type and their children. Service somewhat better but most staff still cannot cope. Food is lovely and simple and staff is freindly if not concentrated.

Just round the corner from me so we go there a bit.

Not a place for a quiet night. Tends to be overrun with four by four drivers and their kids during the day, but good in the evening. Staff can sometimes need a bit of chasing up.

A large restaurant and not a place for a cosy candlelit dinner (communal tables). The main dishes can be a tad heavy but personally I really like the place. It's reasonably priced, clean, reliable and the main courses I've had there (mostly noodle based dishes) have been very good. I also liked the open plan kitchen concept so you can see how and where your food is prepared.

Wagamama Brighton maintains the high standard of the other restaurants in the chain. It's all very well thought out, slick but not impersonal, with good service and great dishes.

Dining is on long communal tables and you will typically be sat next to strangers. Note the storage shelf under the table!

The specialty is noodles, either wok-fried or in broth, with plenty of choice for vegetarian, meat, poultry or fish accompaniments. Everything is cooked to order in an open kitchen from fresh ingredients, so if you don't like an ingredient in your preferred dish just ask. Rather like tapas, dishes will arrive when cooked rather than all together.

Mains of noodles typically £7-9; side dishes £3-6. Desserts available if you really need one but I don't consider them a highlight.

We’ve eaten here twice and had a take-out. We love the place, love the food. Great for kids young and old, very family friendly. Good choice of oriental/asian cuisine, and a nice kids menue. Its always busy there, but you cant book tho, but you’ll always get in. Always a good atmosphere, good and efficient service from good staff, great to see the chefs tossing their hot woks! not bad value for money. A place where the nice people eat and good for people watching! (we saw Steven Berkov eating their with his wife)
