I went to Sukothai Palace on a Bank Holiday and the restaurant was moderately busy. I was met by a very friendly greeting and made to feel extremely welcome.

It was also lunch time for one of the waitresses, but that did not stop her from attending to my every need. I felt a little guilty that she interrupted her own meal to bring me my food and later a drink then the bill.

The food was not only well prepared, but also nicely presented which adds to the pleasure of the meal.

Altogether a very enjoyable experience, I look forward eagerly to my next visit.

very disappointed by the service..i had to leave the restaurant with bad feeling.

the waiter i spoke when they brought me a wrong dish ( fried rice), she told me the one i ordered (stir fried dish) will taste same if i mix with plain rice... i had to talk to her and tried to make my point, but didnt work. she kept saying both dish taste same anyway so why i dont try.

i gave up and had this fried rice dish .....(they said it will take another 5-10 min if i want to change, and poor my friend was wanting for me already.....)

same waiter came back and ask me how i like it, i said it is ok but they are not the same dish, she laughed at me and said " you will keep saying that until night, you know." and walk away...

what kind of customer service is that !

ate here last nite (Pride nite). Brightion was full to the rafters, it was our 3rd choice b'cos we couldnt get in Sabai or Thai Spice.

Food was ok, service ok after prompting. We had the mixed hors douvres, and steamed sea bass. Food was ok, but not as good as Thai Spice.

But it was too noisy there last nite, due to a large group of rowdy females like a hen party or soemething?

My husband and I visit this restaurant often especially for the £4.95 lunchtime deal. The choice and quality is superb, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and would encourage any reading this review to visit.

We have eaten here on many occasions and this is the best Thai food we have sampled in the UK. The chicken penang and the green curry are superb but for me the Sea Bream in the thick spicy chilli sauce is the one that sticks in the mind most. Really chilled, great service and child friendly. Good value. Go.

Went there with my wife yesterday. Valentine's day. I was expecting a very busy service and having to wait considerably to be served. The service was amazing and, altough it was so busy, the staff made it look smood bringing out the food quickly. Very kind staff as well. We chose the seafood soup to start with and was sooo tasty. For the main course I had the roast duck with red curry and it was very good indeed. We order a bottle of wine as this is not overpriced as many other restaurants. We'll go there again!!!

One of the best restaurants in Brighton with a consistently high standard. My companions and I always try something different and our 'rule' is that we cannot have the same dish twice in succession because we are extremely delighted with the taste sensations of every dish served. Go on, take a stab at the menu and try something different...oh, and their wine list is another winner. I recommend a bottle rather than the house-wines because there are some pleasant wines at modest prices.
